In 2019, Nina Marie Barbuto was invited to give a lecture on her work as the director of Assemble (Pittsburgh).
The lecture series was suspended in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, it returned in 2024, with a series of video lectures presented by notable digital media artists. These lectures were funded through a grant made available by the National Art Education Foundation.
